I unwrapped the bar of sandalwood soap and smelled it. It smell so beautiful and exotic, reminding me of last summer when we discovered this particular soap, although I could not remember anything about the summer related to the soap. It puzzled me, the smell, as it comforted me, signaling something general and yet nothing specific, just a memory that is me, like a dimple or a scar.
