Can you imagine if this had been a privately owned facility? On the one hand, I'm frustrated that the water service is so piss poor from this publically owned facility, but at least there are controls in place and the problem has been reported. If it were a private company, hey, fuck you. You're not a shareholder. Cue all the free-market monsters to start e-mailing me and proclaim "but, but competition would cause the private companies to maintain better service; that's their accountability," to which I would scream "WHAT COMPETITION?" "WHAT FREE MARKET?" "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?"

And then there's our hometown product. How 'bout shipping some of those bottles to the district, mayor?
