I can think of many more insulting things to say, but unfortunately they won't fit on a label.

Mamet Sucks Own Dick

I saw my first Mamet play last night, Speed the Plow. I thought it was slow in parts and that the female role was, as advertized in all of Mamet's works, one-dimensional. However, it didn't help that the actress playing the role turned in a stiff, wooden performance as well; she was actually was I imagined Madonna was in the opening run! Of course, the men were one-dimensional as well, but they had personality. Although I can agree with the premise of the play, I just didn't think it was that outstanding; it was too aware of itself to the point of self-fellatio.

I guess I'm never gonna get that theater critic job at the Baltimore Sun.
