Hard to believe that K and I will be celebrating our tenth anniversary tomorrow! We've agreed just to have a nice dinner somewhere, since K is wrapping up her finals this week and we'll both be out of town for mother's day. Any restaurant suggestions? It seems we've been everywhere in this crazy town after ten years. We want something quiet, eclectic, and casual. We eat all types of ethnic food, except for Ethiopian (I just can't get behind the bread), and we've been to Martick's recently, so we're out of ideas.

I had a nice birthday lunch with Rob at the California Pizza Kitchen. But then we went back the next week with our friend from out of town, and it was a dreadful experience. So I would have to say I can't wholeheartedly recommend the California Pizza Kitchen.

There is a lovely French restaurant in historic Annapolis, but I can't remember the name.

Have you been to Kumari, across from Mughal Garden? It's very nice, and there are enough not-quite-Indian dishes to make it interesting.

You know, one of my favorite Birthday places is the Ambassador. It's nice enough to feel special, the service is good and the food is wonderful. This time of year, you can sit in the garden when the weather is nice. Happy Anniversary!!

Congratulations. 10 years is quite an achievement. I'm lucky if someone puts up with me for 10 months. :)

I'm so with you on Ethiopian; that sour bread and what seems like baby food or something and everything's cold. Bleh.

Thanks for all the suggestions! As much as we love Indian, we just had it a few days ago, so we're thinking about Limogene's, the French place on Charles that used to be the sucky Mexican place. Of course, same management, so who knows whether it'll be better, but something creamy and decadent sounds just about right for ten years.

Congratulations! That is so cool. These days I don't seem to do better than 10 days with anyone, ha. Seriously, that's so cool and I hope you guys find a great place to go! I have no suggestions for Baltimore, unfortunately... I don't get up there much. ;)
