I got really annoyed the other day when I got one of those "channel lineup changes" from Comcast, my cable company, informing me of what a wonderful company they were because they were offering me some new channels.
What channels? 4 inspirational, faith-based channels.
Oh yeah, I'm sooooooo lucky. Ugh. I wish they would come up with a way so you could say "no thanks" to shit like that and get a discount off your bill. It gets bandied about -- the idea of "a la carte" cable so you pick and choose -- but I am sure they would find a way to screw us customers over by doing it.
